Philippine Jesuit Province Involvement
In general, the Province has set up all the above institutes and organizations as separate SEC registered non-profit, non-stock corporations. Wherever possible, the various institutes and organizations are to work toward financial self-sufficiency, i.e. to function without financial support from the Province. Although this has been achieved by our major educational institutions, this is not true of many of the other important mission works like, for example, the rural parishes, the chaplaincies, our retreat houses, work with the indigenous population, and engagement with social and environmental issues.
