In celebrating the feast of Ignatius on July 31st, please help the Lumad (Indigenous People of Bukidnon) College Scholarship Program.

Yes, rejoice and celebrate with us and with the Bukidnon Mission District! We have 12 graduates and 18 current scholars!

Among the 12 graduates, eight (8) completed two-year courses: 4 in Midwifery and 4 in Automative Technology. Four (4) obtained BS degrees in Electronics & Communication Engineering (ECE) (Cum laude), in Elementary Education, and 2 in Agriculture. The ECE and Education graduates have also passed their licensure exams! All of them are gainfully employed. Seven returned to their tribes serving their communities and in Jesuit Mission.

Ignatius when asked about finances, he said: “Do you not know the strength that hope in God has? Or are you unaware that a person has little hope when everything is in abundant supply? If things were guaranteed and in our grasp, where would our hope in God be? ‘For a hope that is seen in not hope. For if someone sees it, where it the hope?’” (Rom 8:24)

Join us, friend, in deep HOPE in God who is in his mercy provides! Happy Feast Day!
